Software Division Names New Director of Implementation

WESTON, FL, December 3rd, 2014:  Housing and Development Services, Inc., the parent company of Housing and Development Software LLC (HDS) announces the appointment of Raul Matos as Director of Implementation. Raul rejoins HDS LLC, where he worked from April 2003 to November 2007 as a Project Manager and Systems Implementer. Abdul Mondol, President of the Software Division expressed “We are delighted to have Raul back, joining the HDS Team in this new capacity.”

Following several years at HDS, Raul joined ICF in November 2007 to work on the Louisiana Road Home Project (Hurricane Katrina) based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His responsibilities included overseeing SDLC for the Road Home Small Rental Program. When CGI acquired the ICF-initiated projects in April 2009, he joined their team. During his tenure with the Road Home project Raul managed over 300 software deployments, and was responsible for managing activities among the project’s software vendors and contractors.

Raul’s expertise and in depth subject matter provided CGI the leverage to be awarded the NJ Sandy Relief Project. His knowledge, skills, and experience were key factors for the ongoing efforts of the NJ Sandy Relief Project, where he worked until October of this year. Citing a desire to be back close to his family again, Raul made the decision to move back to South Florida and rejoin HDS.

Raul Matos is a manager who brings vast experience from the software industry, applying different solutions and technologies to customers’ needs. His unique ability to support, and understand clients/stakeholders needs combined with his industry knowledge will ensure successful relationships that will yield positive results.

Raul’s professional career has been focused on leveraging technology, processes, and people to meet the demands of the Affordable Housing and Long Term Disaster Recovery Industries. Raul will be based at the Company Headquarters in Weston, Florida.
